They’re known the world over as “The Best Damn Band in the Land,” and the Ohio State Marching Band proved they deserve the title with their halftime show over the weekend.

Taking the field at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, the Marching Buckeyes wowed the crowd with flawless formations and pitch perfect music taken from blockbuster film soundtracks.

Among the movies represented were “Superman,” “Harry Potter,” “Jurassic Park,” and “Pirates of the Caribbean,” all of which they pulled off without a sour note or misstep.

And while halftime is traditionally the time the crowd hits the concession stand and restrooms, many spectators opted to stay in their seats for the rousing performance.
