She put up with Bart for over two decades, but sadly the voice of Mrs. Krabappel, Marcia Wallace, passed away on Friday night (October 25).

The "Simpsons" actress died at home with her family surrounding her after a long illness, according to TMZ. She was 70 years old.

Outside of the show, Marcia was a fierce advocate of breast cancer awareness after being diagnosed back in 1985.

Though producers teased a major death this season, executive producer Al Jean shares that Edna Krabappel was never on the chopping block.
