Fans of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" series can breathe a little easier tonight (October 23), as Jamie Dornan has reportedly been named to the role of Christian Grey.

According to multiple sources, the 31-year-old actor had a successful screen test with the film's female lead Dakota Fanning, and is now in final negotiations for the role.

The coveted role was previously filled by "Sons of Anarchy's" Charlie Hunnam, but Charlie backed out of the project shortly before filming was to begin.
