Kicking off their week with a leisurely lunch, Joe Jonas and Blanda Eggenschwiler showed up at Mauro’s Café at Fred Segal on Monday afternoon (October 21).

The “Love Bug” rocker and his gorgeous girlfriend were joined by a bodyguard as they exited the eatery, amidst rumors that the recent Jonas Brothers tour cancellation was caused by Joe’s alleged drug addiction.

When Jonas was photographed meeting with Cast Recovery Services’ honcho/addiction specialist Mike Bayer, the tabloids began speculating that previous reports of Joe’s drug use turned out to be true.

Star magazine quoted a source as saying, “He’s been dealing with substance abuse issues for quite some time. The tour would have never survived with how Joe was behaving. His family has been begging him to seek help. At this point, Nick and Kevin don’t care what is going on with the band, they just want to see their brother healthy. They’ve had discussions with Joe about their fears for him and the importance of getting help.”
