Serving to increase the “creepy” factor, Sony Pictures has just released a new preview clip from the forthcoming film “Carrie.”

In the video, Julianne Moore looks demented as she pounds her head against a wall while Chloe Moretz races to her side.

Per the synopsis, “This is a reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White, a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother, who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.”

“Carrie” is slated to hit theaters on October 18th, and also stars Judy Greer, Samantha Weinstein, and Portia Doubleday.
