Going against the grain of previous reports stating that she had left acting in her past, The Hollywood Reporter dished today (October 11) that Meg Ryan will star in a brand new comedy on NBC!

Per the synopsis, the “Sleepless in Seattle” star plays "A sunny, devoted and desperately non-confrontational single mom who decides to return to her New York publishing house where she was once a brilliant editor."

The new comedy will come at us from none other than Marc Lawrence, writer for both the “Family Ties” sitcom and movie “Miss Congeniality.”
