The “Last Song” hunk paced around the outdoor location in between scenes, chatting with cast and crew while nearby shutterbugs snapped up pics.

Over the weekend, Liam helped his pal Ashlee Simpson celebrate her 29th birthday at Umi sushi restaurant in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood.

An eyewitness told press, "Liam was solo. Of course, all the girls in the restaurant wanted to sit close to him, but nothing. He didn't seem interested. He just came with his boys.”
