She’s a well-traveled actress, and now Betty White's wax figure is racking up the miles as well- it’s coming to the Nation’s Capital.

The “Golden Girls” actress’ likeness will be unveiled later today (October 9) at Madame Tussauds Washington DC by Humane Society CEO Lisa LaFontaine, and it will be on display through December.

Always a comedian, White told press that she was delighted about the statue, though she does have one hang-up about it- “The only thing that irks me is they waited until I was 90.A few decades ago would have been swell."

“I want to thank Madame Tussauds Hollywood for taking their sweet time in making my wax figure. Would it have killed them to do this 50 years ago before gravity took over?"
