It’s always great to keep it in the family, and Amy Poehler's younger brother Greg Poehler just sold his “Welcome to Sweden” series to the NBC Network.
According to a report, Mr. Poehler will star in the half-hour comedy series as well as cover the executive producing duties, along with his “Parks and Recreation” sister.
And the new show will get a big boost from some serious star power, as celebrities like Will Ferrell, Aubrey Plaza, and Gene Simmons are all on board for cameos.
Per the synopsis, “This is a fish-out-of-water tale based on the former lawyer's personal life. New York accountant Bruce falls in love with a Swedish girl named Emma and follows her to Sweden.”
