Switching over to a comedic TV role, Bryan Cranston is heading back to “How I Met Your Mother.”

Earlier this afternoon (September 25), CBS announced the news via Twitter, sharing, “CASTING NEWS! @BryanCranston returns to #HIMYM later this fall as Hammond Druthers! #BreakingMOTHER.”

The Emmy-winning actor appeared in two episodes of the hit comedy back in 2006 and 2007 after ending his sting on “Malcom in the Middle.”

Meanwhile, Bryan’s successful series “Breaking Bad” is currently in its final season.
