Paul McCartney Shuts Down Hollywood Boulevard & Rocks “Jimmy Kimmel Live”

He’s gearing up for his first album of new material in over six years, and Paul McCartney paid a visit to “ Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night (September 23) for a very special performance.

The 71-year-old “Let It Be” legend played a full concert for the lucky folks in the audience, and afterwards Sir Paul plugged New (out October 15th) and discussed some strange dreams he’s been having for years.

McCartney shared, “You can’t control what goes on in your dreams anyway. So I’m there, let’s say, with the Beatles, and we’re playing and the audience starts to leave. [So we say], ‘Okay, what do we do? What do we do? Quick! Quick! Oh, I know- Long Tall Sally!’ And they’re still leaving and I wake up in a cold sweat.”

Kimmel asked, “Has that ever happened? Has the audience ever left?” Paul nonchalantly replied, “No.”

Regarding the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Beatles first gig in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl, Paul recalled there was “a lot of screaming, which was great. Beautiful girls. We were young. We were healthy. We were ready to roll.”
