Katy Perry’s “Roar” Banned from Bengals Stadium

Performing on one of the hottest tickets in Sin City, Katy Perry arrived at the iHeartRadio Music Festival at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Friday (September 20).

Wearing a dark sleeveless dress with her hair in two mini-buns on top of her head, the "Firework" singer posed for pics on the red carpet.

Though her new single may empower females everywhere, it drew the ire of football fans when the Cincinnati Bengals used it prominently in the stadium.

Following fan backlash, director of sales and public affairs Jeff Berding told the Washington Street Journal, "I think some fans proved that there's an expectation that when the team takes the field, there should be more of a hard-rock, classic-rock song and I know that's what we're going to do this game. Katy Perry is not going to be the last song you hear before the team takes the field."
