Making the most of a beautiful sunny day, Lindsay Lohan stepped out in New York City on Wednesday (September 18).

The "Freaky Friday" babe rocked a causal ensemble made up of a t-shirt, shorts and thigh high black boots as she hit the streets with her entourage.

Recently, Us Weekly linked the 27-year-old actress to former NFL player Matt Nordgren. "He's a great influence on her, and her friends and family love him," a source close to Miss Lohan stated. "He's older, a successful businessman, and has been great friends with her."

"He's trying to keep her sober and on the straight and now. He's really good for her," the snitch added.

Matt has also said, "We've hung out. But I have been a friend trying to support her for many years. She's completely sober for months now. She's in a great place, she's thinking clear and working hard and meeting with all the right people."

Mr. Nordgren played one season for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2006 before starring on the E! reality series "Most Eligible Dallas."
