Kicking off her morning with some motherly duties, Katie Holmes dropped her daughter Suri off at school in New York City on Tuesday (September 17).

The “Teaching Mrs. Tingle” actress skipped her makeup bag and opted for a baggy black and white striped sweater with distressed jeans as she made her exit from the building.

Katie showed off her latest lineup for Holmes & Yang at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week earlier this month, and it sounds like things are going quite well in the design department

Holmes gushed, “It’s really exciting. It’s a wonderful thing to work and I’m very inspired by my partner, [stylist] Jeanne Yang. She’s a wonderful designer and we had a great presentation. It was actually very relaxed and we really enjoyed ourselves.”
