Indulging her inner-fashion freak, Jessica Alba stepped out for New York Fashion Week 2013 in Manhattan this morning (September 12).

The “Machete Kills” starlet was joined by her friend as she exited her hotel sporting a subtly sexy black long-sleeved sweater teamed with a long pink skirt and oversized sunglasses.

And it sounds like Jessica’s own sense of style has evolved quite a bit as a result of becoming a mother to her adorable kiddos.

Alba told press, "I think I have a little bit more fun [with fashion] -- I'm not as conservative now that I've had children.”

Jessica also offered some advice for moms looking to take their clothing game to the next level- "Take the time to get items tailored -- it makes any piece look awesome."
