They may be an international sensation, but when it comes to food, the lads of One Direction are still definitively British. On a break from filming their newest video Thursday (August 29) near London, the boys dined at a “pie and mash” restaurant.

Pie and Mash is a traditional London working-class food, originating in the East End of London. Pie, mash and stewed eels shops have been in London since the 19th century and Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik are all happy keep the culinary tradition alive today.

Meanwhile, “One Direction: This Is Us,” the band's new 3-D concert movie, is predicted to smash records and rule the upcoming holiday weekend box office.

Forecasters are expecting impressive numbers for the film, which formally opens Friday. Slant Magazine predicted a $29.3 million start, which would rival the current Friday-Monday Labor Day record while BoxOffice.com suggested a three-day projection of $22 million.
