Miley Cyrus: Put on Blast by Foam Finger Inventor!

It’s been a tough week for Miley Cyrus, as her 2013 MTV Video Music Awards performance has received overwhelmingly negative reviews.

And in addition to being accused of degrading women, African Americans, and pretty much any other sub-group of society, the “Party in the USA” babe is now being called out by the inventor of the foam finger, Steve Chmelar.

The 59-year-old entrepreneur told FOX Sports, "She took an honorable icon that is seen in sporting venues everywhere and degraded it."

"If I had a choice between Julie Andrews singing 'The Sound of Music' and Miley Cyrus doing 'Can't Stop,' I'd go the Julie Andrews route."

Chmelar added, "Fortunately, the foam finger has been around long enough that it will survive this incident. As for Miley Cyrus, let's hope she can outlive this event and also survive."
