Dodging a familiar health scare, Dustin Hoffman has been successfully treated for cancer and is working to keep it from coming back.

According to his rep Jodi Gottlieb, "It was detected early and he has been surgically cured. Dustin is feeling great and is in good health."

According to People, the 75-year-old actor will undergo preventative treatments to minimize the recurrence of the disease.

Though he may have been battling privately, Dustin has remained working hard, having just completed filming on the upcoming Jon Favreau comedy, "Chef."
