Ashton Kutcher: New York Stock Exchange Stud

Adding some eye candy to Manhattan’s financial district, Ashton Kutcher showed up to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange this morning (August 6).

The “Butterfly Effect” star looked handsome in a dark suit and tie combo and scruffy beard as he did the honors and addressed the trading room floor.

Kutcher stars in the forthcoming biopic “Jobs” about Apple mastermind Steve Jobs, though the gig was actually pretty grueling.

In a new interview, Ashton explained that he adopted Jobs’ fruitarian diet from “The Mucusless Diet Healing System.”

“[The book] talked about the value of grape sugar and that was probably the only pure sugar you could have in your body. I think the guy who wrote that book was pretty misinformed. My insulin levels got pretty messed up and my pancreas kind of went into some crazy, the levels were really off and it was painful. I didn’t know what was wrong.”

He continued, “I started consuming the things that he consumed, I started studying entrepreneurs he admired, listening to the music he listed to, eating the food he ate and walking the way he walked. He’d go for a walk when he wanted to have a meeting with someone and I just started doing that and started walking without shoes on and wearing Birkenstocks and going for one-hour walks every day.”
