Originally planning to jet off to Europe soon after being released from rehab, Lindsay Lohan cancelled her plans thanks to some advice from Oprah Winfrey.

Scheduled to take flight on Monday night, the "Mean Girls" star was hoping to get away from it all, but the Queen of Daytime convinced her that the threat of relapse would be too great without a support system nearby.

However, O may just be protecting her investment. The 27-year-old actress is scheduled to do a documentary series for OWN later this month.

According to TMZ, the 59-year-old mogul called Lindsay many times to convince her to stay in the U.S. Stay linked to GossipCenter to see if the troubled young star can avoid temptation.
