Chris Colfer Talks Privacy in Mourning Cory Monteith: Watch Here!

Hoping to mourn and honor his friend in his own way, Chris Colfer asked for privacy in an interview with HuffPost Live on Monday (August 5).

When questioned about how he was doing, the 23-year-old actor replied, "I'm doing as well as I could be doing. It's a really, really unfortunate situation, but I think all you can do is move forward."

Speaking about going back to work on set after the sudden passing of Cory Monteith last month, the "Glee" star shared, "It's difficult because it's hard to mourn someone, but it's another thing to mourn someone with the world. I think a line needs to be drawn, because it's really unnerving to get messages from people, from 12-year-olds in Nebraska telling you how to mourn and telling you how to pay your respects."

Concluding, he added, "I think it's really important for everyone to know that life goes on and just be there for each other in general. I don't know if there's anything else you can do."
