His empire continues to expand every season, and Ryan Seacrest's latest job is a crazy game show concept.

The “On Air” hunk will host and executive produce the new interactive “Million Second Quiz,” slated to hit the airwaves on Monday, September 9th.

According to a report, the new project “will feature contestants playing head-to-head trivia bouts inside a massive outdoor hourglass-shaped structure in midtown Manhattan and competing non-stop for a million seconds (11 days, 13 hours, 46 minutes and 40 seconds).”

Meanwhile, the upcoming season of “American Idol” is the last one on Ryan’s current contract, so he may be jumping ship before too long.
