Anthony Wiener Roasted with Kristin Chenoweth’s “Wicked” Parody

Lyrics from the hit Broadway musical “Wicked” were re-worked to parody New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner Tuesday (July 30) on “The Tonight Show.”

Kristin Chenoweth, one of the original stars of “Wicked,” sung the song “Popular” to roast Wiener (aka Carlos Danger) about his sexting shenanigans.

Though the musical arrangement remained the same, Chenoweth sang instead, “I’ll teach you what Tweets to Tweet, something clean and sweet. We’ll make sure you get your chance to be popular -- the right kind of popular!”

She continued, “I’ll teach you to zip your fly, you won’t be that guy, with a camera down his pants.

“They’ll be no more sexy texts with your biceps flexed, your roaming eye will roam no more! You want to be the mayor? Stop acting like a big old whore!”
