Celebrities and charity always seem to go hand-in-hand, and Sunday night (July 28) The California Spirit Gala gathered some famous folks to raise major moolah.

“Melrose Place” babe Heather Locklear showed up at the shindig to partake in the festivities and contribute to the cause, as did “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Adrienne Maloof.

And Brooke Burke Charvet was given the Inspiration Award by “Project Runway” designer Nick Verreos as her doting husband David Charvet looked on.

According to a press release from The California Spirit Gala, established in 1984, “To date, the event has raised over $15 million for the American Cancer Society to support their ongoing efforts to finish the fight against cancer.”
