Stepping out for some promotional duties, Jessica Alba showed up at CB2 in Santa Monica to sign copies of her book on Tuesday (July 9).

The "Honest Life" author looked cute in a white and yellow frock with matching espadrilles as she tossed an over the shoulder wave to the shutterbugs as she headed inside the Santa Monica Place.

In her book, the mother of two explains,"I was sick of being told that 'healthy,' 'safe,' and 'eco' means 'boring,' 'beige,' and 'blah'--not to mention, crazy expensive and hard to find."

In a recent interview, Jessica spoke about how being a parent has changed her, revealing "I didn't know I was going to be able to multitask the way that I have been able to, and it's just out of survival, to be quite honest."
