Showing off her newly-dyed coif, Anne Hathaway stepped out for some coffee in New York City this morning (May 28).

Sporting a simple black tank top dark wash jeans, the “Dark Knight Rises” dame hid from the shutterbugs from behind a pair of sunglasses.

According to a report, Anne entrusted her gorgeous hairdo to celebrity stylist Marie Robinson and underwent the dye job on May 23rd.

Apparently the brown hair is for her new role in the forthcoming film “Song One,” in which she’ll play “a young woman who strikes up a relationship with her ailing brother’s favorite musician.”
