They are always where the action is, and on Sunday (May 19) Naomi Watts and Rooney Mara were on hand at the “For the Love of Cinema” event in Antibes, France.

Looking lovely in a strapless black frock with floral detail, the Oscar-nominated actress took in the scene at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, while the “Social Network” cutie worked the crowd in a black-and-white dress and dark red lipstick.

Held as part of the 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival, the evening was sponsored by the Swiss luxury watch maker IWC Schaffhausen.

Other celebs in attendance for the festivities included Christoph Waltz and Eric Dane, as well as film producer Harvey Weinstein.
