Bringing her ultimate star power out for a night of fun, Beyoncé Knowles stepped onto the 2013 Costume Institute Gala red carpet on Monday (May 6).

The "Single Ladies" songstress donned an elaborate gold embellished gown with matching boots as she headed into The Met for the fashion-forward affair.

Every year, the Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum of Art puts together a killer collection of amazing goodies complete with a star-studded party to kick things off.

And this time around the theme is “PUNK: Chaos to Couture,” an examination of punk’s impact on high fashion from the 1970s up to the collections found on today’s runways the world over.
