Henry Cavill in British GQ June 2013: I Never Thought Of Myself As Unlucky

He's known as the most unlucky man in Hollywood, but now things are looking up for Henry Cavill and he's telling everyone why in the June 2013 issue of British GQ magazine.

While showing off his good looks for the Kenneth Cappello photo shoot, the "Man of Steel" star cleared the air about his previous movie "auditions" and chatted about how he dealt with the unfortunate career mishaps.

Check out a few highlight's of Mr. Cavill's interview below. For more, be sure to visit British GQ!

On the mysterious auditions of "Twilight" and "Batman":
"[For Twilight] I never got to see a script; they never called me. [For Batman] I'll have to ask Chris [Nolan] about that. I read that and thought, really? I must be really drunk. No, I never auditioned [for these two films]."

On learning from his "James Bond" rejection:
"People say, 'You must be so depressed that you didn't get Bond.' Well no, because I got as far as the screen test for Bond. There's a lot of people out there who are far less fortunate than me, who didn't even get thought the door with their agent."

On looking past his rough acting patches:
"I never thought of myself as unlucky. When you aim high, it's tough to get there unless something really fortunate happens."
