Increasing the ratio of girls to boys in the family, Ian Ziering and his wife welcomed a baby girl on Thursday (April 25).

The "Beverly Hills, 90210" star and Erin Ziering told People that Penna Mae Ziering entered the world at 9:21 a.m. at 6lbs, 9oz.

Unfortunately for their other daughter Mia, she'll have to share a special occasion with the little one, as Penna arrived right on her second birthday.

The proud papa explained, "We didn't plan it! Mia was born a week late and Penna was a week early. She couldn't wait to meet her. When she saw Penna she said, 'Baby sister!'"

Stoked for the new addition, Ian gushed, "We are ecstatic. Having a family is the realization of a dream for us both."
