Riding high as a member of the Fierce Five, Gabby Douglas attended the PEOPLE/TIME Party On The Eve Of The White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, D.C. on Friday (April 26).

The Olympic gymnast looked adorable in a sleeveless knee-length black dress and peep-toe heels as she posed for pics before heading inside.

Appreciative of the opportunity, on Saturday, the gold medal winner tweeted, "Thanks @TIME for hosting me in DC this weekend.! @lesleyburbridge @livlonglivstrng & I had a great time last night!! #peopletimeparty."

During the event, the Washington Post caught up with the athlete, where she was asked if it was weird to be the youngest person in the room. With a smile, Gabby replied, "No, I think it's really fun."
