Using her star power as leverage, Kate Walsh headed to the Capitol to lobby to end offshore drilling on Thursday (April 25).

The "Grey's Anatomy" star looked patriotic in a white button-down blouse and red jacket and pants as she smiled in front of the iconic government building.

Pushing for offshore wind power instead, the 45-year-old actress made the rounds earlier in the day, stopping at Politico, AP radio, and a local news station.

Though on a serious mission, Ms. Walsh couldn't help but make a fun fashion observation, posing with the red Politico office sign and commenting, "Photo: Politico matches my lady suit."
