Adding another gig to build her post-"Twilight" career, Nikki Reed has nabbed a spot in the cast of the new movie, "Murder of a Cat."

According to Deadline, she'll play a character named Greta, opposite costars Fran Kranz, Greg Kinnear, and J.K. Simmons.

Directed by Gillian Greene-Raimi, the film is described as a "darkly comic noir about a guy trying to unravel the mystery around the murder of his pet cat."

In the meantime, later this month you can catch the 24-year-old actress in the crime thriller "Pawn," opening on April 23rd.
