Stepping out for a swanky shindig, Melissa McCarthy showed up on the red carpet outside Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards tonight (April 14).

The “Bridesmaids” star got all gussied up for the momentous occasion and wore it well as she made her way through the gaggle of fans and shutterbugs.

This year's candidates for the coveted Best Shirtless Performance title include Christian Bale, Daniel Craig, Taylor Lautner, Seth MacFarlane, and Channing Tatum.
