Tending to his fatherly duties, Hugh Jackman took his daughter Ava to school in New York City this morning (April 11).

Joined by his lovely wife Deborra-Lee Furness, the “Les Miserables” hunk even made sure to clean up after his pet pooch and seemed very affectionate to both of his ladies.

Today is Hugh and Deborra’s 17th wedding anniversary, and proof positive that marriages can last even in Tinseltown!

Last year, Jackman told Katie Couric that it was love at first sight for him when he saw Furness. “It was the clearest thing in the world for me. I knew 100 percent… I’ve never known anything as confidently or sure in my life that she was the one I was going to be with. In any marriage there’s good times, hard times and bad times. Whatever happens I know we’re going to tackle it together. Truly she’s the greatest woman I have ever met.”
