Looking to spice up an otherwise boring Tuesday evening, James Van Der Beek showed up at Bootsy Bellows nightclub in West Hollywood last night (March 19).

Joined by his lovely wife Kimberly Brook, the “Dawson’s Creek” stud looked studious in a pair of black frame spectacles and a black cardigan sweater as he smiled for the paparazzi.

In career news, James has bounced back from the cancellation of his show “Don’t Trust the B---- in Apartment 23” with a new pilot for CBS.

Van Der Beek will play Will Stokes, a gynecologist whose wife cheats on him with his therapist, in the new show “Friends With Better Lives.”
