Out to show her support for one of The History Channel's newest series, Kristin Chenoweth attended "The Bible Experience" opening night gala in New York City on Tuesday (March 19).

The Tinseltown beauty looked casually chic in distressed jeans, a yellow top and an edgy tweed jacket as she worked the red carpet before heading inside for the main event.

The evening's gala is set to help debut a new week-long exhibit which will act as a visual journey that brings the mini-series, "The Bible," to life.

Held at The Highline Building in the swanky Meatpacking District, the public will get their chance to view everything from photography, art and artifacts to ensure a complete sensory journey.

Open to the public from March 20-27, Kristin encouraged her followers to check it out, tweeting, "Come to #thebible exhibit on 14rh street NYC. Free!"
