Playing the doting mother, Jennifer Garner brought her daughter Seraphina to pick Violet up from school yesterday afternoon (December 19) in Santa Monica, California.

The “Butter” starlet carried her youngest on her back as they all strolled back to their car, eagerly chatting about the day’s affairs.

Jennifer recently returned to SoCal for the holidays after a demanding filming schedule for her new flick “The Dallas Buyers Club” in New Orleans.

Along with Garner, the much-talked-about flick also stars Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto, both of whom dropped a bunch of weight for their roles.
