The world was stunned when she died suddenly back in July of 2011, and now Amy Winehouse's case is back open for further investigation.

According to a report, the coroner who handled the inquest did not have the proper qualifications to do the study, thereby calling into question the “accidental alcohol poisoning” verdict.

Therefore, a new hearing by the Camden Council has been scheduled for January 8th in hopes of either confirming the original findings or discovering the true nature of Winehouse’s demise.

Additionally, Amy’s family has not been involved in the request, and has not released any statements regarding the process.
