People from all corners of society have come together to mourn the tragic Newtown, Connecticut school shooting that took place this past Friday, and while he’s devastated by the news, Quentin Tarantino has warned that pointing fingers isn’t the answer.

The “Django Unchained” mastermind is well-known for his use of guns and violence in his films, and he’s convinced that there’s no link between media and bad behavior.

Quentin explained, "I just think, you know, there's violence in the world, tragedies happen, blame the playmakers. It's a Western. Give me a break."

However, “Django” star Jamie Foxx isn’t so quick to dismiss the possible link. "We cannot turn our back and say that violence in films or anything that we do doesn't have a sort of influence. It does."

Meanwhile, Christoph Waltz noted that the "media's responsibility is greater than the storyteller is because... Django is violent, but it's not inspiring violence."
