She certainly didn’t need any more bad press, and yet Rosie O’Donnell now finds herself trying to dig her way out of the hole her daughter Chelsea dug for her.
The 18-year-old progeny told the Daily Mail that her famous mother is a “phony” who is a completely different person in the public eye. “I was pretty much raised by nannies. I never felt connected to her and I never really enjoyed being around her.”
Rosie’s rep reached out to the press and stated that O’Donnell finds the whole interview “heartbreaking on every level.” Back in August, Chelsea ran away from O’Donnell’s Nyack, New York home and she’s now living with boyfriend Steven Sheerer, whom she met on Tinder.
