Although his marriage came to an end last month, life didn’t stop for Blake Shelton, and he wound up giving an interview for “The Voice” just two days after the split was announced.
Entertainment Tonight aired the 39-year-old country singer’s chat on Monday night (August 3) and it was pretty clear that he was emotionally drained.
When asked by the journalist what was in his red solo cup, Blake replied, “A little vodka… I thought I’d go ahead and get it started early. It’s been one of those weeks.” On June 20th, Shelton and Lambert released a joint statement- "This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately."
