With so many projects in the pipeline, it’s almost hard to believe that Disney just greenlit a live action remake of the 1963 animated movie “The Sword in the Stone.”
Produced by “Pirates of the Caribbean” honcho Bringham Taylor and written by “Game of Thrones” scribe Brian Cogman, the forthcoming film is already in development.
In recent months, Disney has also announced plans for live action versions of “The Jungle Book,” “Winnie the Pooh,” “Aladdin,” “Mulan” and “Pinnochio” as well as a sequel to “Maleficent.”
