Celebrities get starstruck just like the rest of us, and it turns out Charlize Theron put her foot in her mouth during a recent encounter with President Barack Obama.
During her interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Monday (July 20), the “Monster” actress recalled the backstage incident in March- “This is terrible, Jimmy. I have this thing that happens when I get nervous where I will say something really inappropriate. It’s like Tourette’s in a weird way… I was really nervous because he had waited to meet with me and everything had stopped around his world to meet me. It was just a lot of pressure.”
Charlize continued, “He was so complimentary about you, [talking about] how grateful he was to be on the show, and how he felt like by being on the show he was reaching a [younger] demographic. And then there was this pause and I didn’t know what to say. All I could come up with was, ‘Well if you’re looking for a different demographic, I can take you to a strip club.’” Check the clip!
