Her ex-husband Caitlyn Jenner received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 ESPYS on Wednesday night (July 15) and though she wasn’t in the house, Kris Jenner was definitely watching from home.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” matriarch told Us Weekly that she was proud of the recently gender-transitioned Olympic gold medalist for both winning the honor and giving a landmark speech. Kris explained “I think it was amazing and very brave. I think she looked beautiful.”
During her speech, Caitlyn shared, “The last few months have been whirlwind of so many different experience and emotions. But to tell you the truth, it seems like every time I turn around in life and I’m putting myself in these high-pressure situations. But I’ve never felt more pressure than I’ve ever felt in my life than over the last couple of months. Picking out this outfit — okay girls, I get it! Please be kind on me. I’m new at this.”
