He’s gonna need a whole bunch of ‘Country Grammar’ to talk his way out of this one- Nelly was arrested for felony drug charges in Nashville on Saturday (April 11).
The “Just a Dream” hitmaker was pulled over by Tennessee Highway Patrol at 9:20am as his tour bus didn’t display the proper stickers, and troopers searched the vehicle after allegedly smelling marijuana.
From there, the cops found five rocks that tested positive for meth as well as several handguns. Nelly was arrested and posted a $10,000 bond. He’ll appear in court in June, though his attorney told press, “Nelly will not be associated with the contraband that was allegedly discovered.”
