Billy Zane Is Perplexed By Zayn Malik’s Fans in New Funny or Die Video

He came to prominence thanks to his villainous role in “Titanic,” and Billy Zane seems to be experiencing a new surge in popularity this week- at least that’s what he seems to think in the latest clip from Funny or Die.

Following Zayn Malik's departure from One Direction, millions of fans have been tweeting “Zayn” messages and Billy just assumes it’s all for him. He begins, “Hey, Internet. Zane here. I guess you know that, clearly.”

Billy goes on, “I woke up to a real spike in my awareness in my Internet heat. I had no idea all my fans were hysterical 14-year-old girls. Look I don't want to be nitpicky, but it's spelled Z-A-N-E not Z-A-Y-N… Your generation has many great qualities but spelling is not one of them…I just want to say to my adoring and mysteriously heartbroken fans: You light up my world, like nobody else. You don’t know you’re beautiful and that’s what makes you beautiful.”
