He’s conquered both the television and movie realms, and now Bruce Willis is gearing up for his first foray into the world of Broadway Theater.
The “Die Hard” hunk will star in a stage adaptation of the Stephen King classic “Misery,” taking on the role of Sheldon, an author who crashes his car, only to be rescued by an obsessed fan named Annie Wilkes, played by Elizabeth Marvel.
Producer Mark Kaufman told press, “Misery is an outstanding psychological thriller. Bruce Willis, who is making his Broadway debut, and Elizabeth Marvel are two great actors who are absolutely perfect to play these characters. I expect this production will be a suspenseful and exciting night of theatre on Broadway.”
