Kristen Stewart held hands with Alicia Cargile as she walked through LAX on Thursday and with the amount of abuse the Still Alice actress gets from paparazzi - who scream are you a lesbian at her in not so nice words - it's a pretty brave move for the actress.
Kristen and Alicia were returning from the surprise wedding of Riley Keough in Napa Valley, which included guests Cara Delevingne, Dakota Fanning, John Travolta and Zoe Kravitz. As it wasn't actually a work event, it's pretty telling that Stewart took Alicia along to the wedding. The girls flew out and back together, kind of implying it was just them two in their party. Aside from the tabloid tales, which Kristen has already said is a huge "embellishment" on her private life, this is pretty much the biggest sign yet that K-Stew could be in a relationship with Alicia.
Whether or not she is, Kristen doesn't deserve to have people screaming offensive terms at her as she walks through the airport and clearly she's not going to let it stop her doing something as small as hold Alicia's hand. Is this a sign the pair, who spend most of their time together, are an item?

Perhaps. If Alicia was just an assistant, she probably would've just walked behind Kristen as the actress takes the full brunt of the LAX paps. But now she's been making the gossip pages too, Alicia is right up next to Kristen. It could either be a sign that, yeah Alicia is Kristen's girlfriend or just the actress trying to protect her friend who has been pulled into the media circus that surrounds her love life.
A few years ago she was a "trampire," now she's cut her hair and isn't visibly dating anyone she's a lesbian, so we doubt Kristen is letting these claims are affecting her too much. If K-Stew is in a same-sex relationship now, it would be a really inspiring coming out story as we know the actress has been idolised by so many. For someone of her age and status to be cool about a same-sex relationship could only mean good things.
