‘We Kept Having To Slow Her Down’: Britney Spears’ Choreographers Praise ‘Rare’ Work Ethic

The list of superstars they've worked with is incredible, but it's Britney Spears in particular who clearly left her mark on choreographers Ashley Evans and Antony Ginandjar. The men worked on the icon's Las Vegas Piece Of Me residency, and couldn't have been more thrilled with the level of work she put in.

And that work has clearly paid dividends: critics have been generally impressed with the show, which is now into its second year and showing no signs of winding down. In fact, the city even introduced the concept of Britney Day last year, a holiday which frankly needs to be embraced around the globe.

"For us, she was just such a hard worker," Ashley told Daily Mail Australia. "She was so focused and wanted to learn the whole show in one day. We kept having to slow her down. It's so rare to have a rehearsal time start at nine o'clock and have the call time at 12. Britney would always be 15 minutes early." Prompt arrivals and strong work ethics ertainly go against the stereotypical diva-ish reputation of A-list popstars, don't they stars of Britney, don't they?

Antony continued: "She's just so keen and so lovely. We loved her. Working with songs that we grew up with and dance video clips and iconic performances and work to them was so surreal." The show's seventh leg will kick off January 28, running 19 shows up to March 7. The most recent date was on New Year's Eve.

The setlist may come in for a bit of an overhaul when Britney unveils her ninth studio album, which is rumoured to be released this year. Last year she shared a snap of herself in the studio and later confirmed that she was slowy and gradually getting ideas together. Iggy Azalea has confirmed they've worked together but rumours that their duet would drop just before Christmas proved to be false.

The new album could do with being a smash: her last set, 2013's Britney Jean, is by some distance her lowest-selling to date, not to mention the poorest-reviewed by critics. Still, 'Work B***h' is a jam, right?
